Getting ready

How to use this practice test.

  1. Do it in one sitting, without help, so the result shows where they really are.
  2. Read every worked solution for the ones marked ✗, then try a similar question a few days later.
  3. Practise by strand. The result breaks down by number, algebra, measurement, space, and statistics and probability, so you know where to spend time.
  4. Little and often beats cramming. Ten minutes a day in the weeks before March helps more than one long session.

Year 3 NAPLAN numeracy: questions parents ask

When is the Year 3 NAPLAN numeracy test in 2027?

NAPLAN 2027 runs from 10 to 22 March 2027. Schools choose the exact days within the national test window. Ask your child’s school for their timetable.
