Want more than a worksheet?

Practice built from mistakes.

A worksheet on probability is a good start. Tuterly goes further: it turns any question students get wrong into fresh practice, at the right level, on what’s likely to be in the next test or exam.

~90% of Bayside Academics students using it weekly improved their test marks

Of the Bayside Academics students who used Tuterly at least once a week, about 90% improved their school test marks.

Based on the actual school test marks of 100+ Bayside Academics students (in person and online) in Years 7 to 10, before and after using Tuterly at least once a week. How we measured this

How probability builds, year by year

Each year adds a new way to organise outcomes, from lists in Year 7 to tree diagrams and conditional probability in Year 10.

Year 7

Sample spaces, the probability of single events, and relative frequency from experiments.

Year 8

Complementary events, and organising outcomes with Venn diagrams and two-way tables.

Year 9

Two-step experiments with and without replacement, and using Venn diagrams and two-way tables of real data for 'and', 'or' and 'not'.

Year 10

Multi-step experiments with tree diagrams, conditional probability and independence.

Year 10A

Counting principles, permutations and combinations.

Probability worksheet questions

Are these probability worksheets free?

Yes. Enter your email the first time and you can make one free worksheet a day, on any topic from Year 7 to Year 10A. Every topic page also has free worked examples you can read straight away.

Do the worksheets have answers?

Every question comes with a fully worked solution, step by step, so students can check their own work and see exactly where a mistake happened.

How do you work out a probability?

Count the outcomes you want and divide by the total number of equally likely outcomes. For example, the probability of rolling an even number on a die is 3 out of 6, or one half. Probabilities are always between 0 and 1.

Better maths marks start with the next wrong answer.

Tuterly turns every missed maths question into practice tailored towards the student, not just a generic worksheet.
